HOW TO FIT

Step 1

Remove rear number plate, if tailgate mounted the inside trim panel will need to be removed before the next step.

Step 2

Ensure there is nothing behind the bumper or tailgate that could be damaged, drill a 7mm hole for cable entry directly behind the number plate location. On metal panels, rustproof the hole with a dab of paint or nail varnish.

Step 3

Ensure the rear of the number plate is clean from dust and dry, using the supplied sticky pads stick the REVERSEE to the rear of the number plate ensuring it is level and straight, REVERSEE can be fitted to the bottom or the top of your number plate.

Step 4

Feed the REVERSEE cable through the supplied grommet, then feed the cable through the previously drilled hole and fit the grommet to ensure a watertight seal. Vehicles with bumper fitted number plates will require the cable to be fed into the rear of the vehicle using a suitable entry point. There will normally be a spare or easily accessed grommet to utilise however if not a 7mm hole will be required to allow cable entry.

Step 5

Locate the vehicles reverse light and run the REVERSEE cable to this using the supplied cable ties to ensure the cable is kept neat and secure.

Step 6

Using a test light or multimeter with the ignition switched on and reverse gear selected locate the 12-volt power cable to the reverse light. Using a t tap connector and spade connector, connect the red wire from REVERSEE to the 12-volt power cable. Using a t tap connector, connect the black wire from REVERSEE to the remaining cable on the reverse lamp, alternatively the black wire from the REVERSEE can be affixed to a good clean earth point using the supplied ring terminal.

Step 7

Refit your number plate and start enjoying a safer reversing experience with your newly fitted REVERSEE.

“I fitted the REVERSEE on a Sunday morning and it took me around an hour and a half. Easy to follow instructions made fitting pretty straightforward. It looked OK when on in my garage but I could not wait to use it for real. That night I used the car and could not wait to try the REVERSEE out. O.M.G to say the least. What a transformation. The brightness is one thing but the spread of light is fantastic meaning I could use my side mirrors as if it was daytime. I would urge anyone to try a REVERSEE.”
